Run for Something is a political organization dedicated to helping progressive candidates run for local office. Since 2017, it has given thousands of young people the tools necessary to run effective grassroots campaigns.
Champions was tasked with designing a brand identity toolkit for the organization. The identity needed to live primarily in the digital realm. The priority was to lower barriers of entry and provide easy access to information online.
Motivated by the uproar of political protest happening at the time, we selected a typeface that conveyed the urgency and energy of the brand. This became the basis of a simple yet sharp system that could be applied on web, social, and merchandise.
